i've been meaning to comment on the last show from the 31st but it's taken me a while. haven't been around and my mind has been elsewhere.

so this is what happened: with all the stress of my last week of work before going on vacation, i didn't realize how much time was needed to pre-record a show and after hours of frustration in the studio i only had about half an hour of bad material.
then while vacationing i tried recording a show with my laptop and after spending all afternoon working on it, i realized the quality of my mic was just not acceptable. so my last resort was to write an email to the radio station and ask them if they could rerun the show from the 17th.
so in case anyone was listening, that's what you heard.

i'm so proud of myself - i have my first pre-show behind me and everything worked out pretty good. no big mess-ups.
what would make it even greater is if someone was listening!
i sure was nervous. i had so many things that i wanted to say and as soon as the mike was on, my mind went completly blank. i eased up as i got further into the show and all in all had a blast!

here's what happened: i was all ready for a great show this morning. got up early, had a healthy breakfast, grabbed my cds, got on my bike and made my way to the studio. got there and looked in my purse for the keys ... yep, and they weren't there :-(
and instead of playing the beatles show like they're supposed to when no one's there, they're playing this crap music!
